ABOUT! - DLOGAN.NET is the product of vision. My senior year in College I had the idea of creating
an interactive, dynamic resume that would give me a chance to demonstrate my skills. At the time
life had just about hit warp speed. My last semester in college I carried 23 credits, worked 20 hrs a
week, and volunteered 10 hrs a week as a mediator. A month after graduation, I got married. Within
a month of the wedding, I was a father-to-be. Nine months later, I was a dad. Three months after
that we bought a
house. Three months later I started the 95 hr weeks which lasted for a year and
a half. Finalley after over three and a half years I have had a chance to sit down and take on an
idea, and make it a reality.
I know, I know, there are a few gaps in there. I could have squezed in development into any of them. While that is partially true, there is much more to life than computers (shhhhh, don't tell my wife I said that!). I've had to learn how to be a husband, a dad, and a leader of my home. None of these came without a price, or without thier lessons. I have had to make tough decisions and balances. Like what is more important to me? Working 95 hrs a week and barely seeing my family so one family member can always be with my son, or become another two income no-parent household. True to my nature, I took the road less traveled burning a trail with my wake. ( 7/13/05 ) To Be Continued...
